Corrections | Track Retirement

Corrections and updates.

We log every material correction to Track Retirement guides — what changed, when, and why.

We commit to transparent, public corrections. Every material change to an Track Retirement guide — wrong number, outdated regulation, broken citation — is logged on this page with the date, the page affected, and what changed. Minor copy edits and typos aren't logged; substantive corrections always are.

How to flag an error

Spot something wrong? Email support@trackretirement.com or use the contact form. We commit to:

  • Acknowledge your report promptly.
  • Fix confirmed errors promptly.
  • Log the correction publicly on this page with the date, the page, and what changed.
  • Notify you when the fix is live, where you have given us an email address and asked us to follow up.

What gets logged here

We log any change that materially affects what a reader takes away from the guide:

  • Wrong dollar figures, percentages, or rates.
  • Outdated regulatory rules (IRS limits, state guaranty caps).
  • Mis-stated product features (carrier ratings, contract terms).
  • Worked-example math errors.
  • Source-link rot pointing readers to incorrect or moved canonical pages.

We do not log: typo fixes, formatting changes, sentence rewrites that don't change meaning, or routine quarterly updates of rate data.
